Better know as: Dr. Helen Bryce, girlfriend of future supervillain Lex Luthor on the WB’s Smallville.

Her story: Leave it to the bad guys to have all the fun…and all the hot women. While goody-goody Clark Kent “aw, shucks” his way around, Luthor experiences lovely Emmanuelle’s bedside manner. “I play a doctor who doesn’t take crap from anybody,” says the Canadian import. Since grinding onto the scene in the romantic comedy 40 Days and 40 Nights (“Josh Hartnett fakes an orgasm with me—I’ve never heard of that happening”), Emmanuelle has kept busy with small film roles, like the upcoming Secondhand Lions, while continuing her legacy in the land of teen angst. So would she really choose baldy Lex over Superman? “There’s an element to the bad boy that’s appealing, but in the end you want the good guy. I can learn to live with the tights.”
